Griffin Medical Centre - Information Pack for Women's Health GP

Welcome!

Thank you for reaching out. I'm pleased you're interested in finding out more about Griffin Medical Centre. I'm Camille Lin, co-owner with my husband Dr Robert Lin. Below is some general information about the practice that might answer some initial questions.

If you're a women's health GP who wants full books from day one, clinical autonomy, and a practice run by people who genuinely care - please read on.

And if you would like to talk more, my personal contact details are below too.

About the practice

A Bit About Us

Griffin Medical Centre is at 228 Brays Road, Griffin - free parking both out front and behind the building.

228 Brays Road, Griffin QLD

My husband Dr Robert Lin and I bought the clinic in March 2025. We're not a corporate group. We're hands-on owners who saw a community that deserved better and have spent the last 18 months building something we're genuinely proud of.

When we took over, the clinic needed work. We've since brought on a practice manager with 38 years of experience, rebuilt the systems, turned the culture around, and watched the Google reviews follow. We sponsor local schools, daycares, gyms, sports clubs and pharmacies because our team actually lives and works in this community - it's not a marketing line.

Our doctors don't leave. They'll tell you that themselves when you visit.

The opportunity

Why a Women's Health GP?

The demand is real and it's unmet.

Our GP Dr Manjula's books are completely full. She's been here for years and her patients love her - we're not going to overload her books because that wouldn't be fair to the families already in her care.

What that means for you: there is a genuine waiting list of patients who need exactly what you do. You won't be sitting around building a book from scratch. You walk in and the patients are already there.

Our doctors are all on board and committed to help welcome you in.

The fit

What We're Looking For

FRACGP or equivalent with current unrestricted AHPRA registration.

A strong clinical foundation in women's health - reproductive health, antenatal and postnatal shared care, menopause management, contraception.

Most importantly: someone who wants to invest their time and energy into a local community and work alongside a team that genuinely has each other's backs.

This isn't the right fit if you're exploring six practices at once, want a corporate structure, or need heavy hand-holding on day-to-day operations.

Your colleagues

The Team You'd Be Joining

We have regular doctors meetings and I'm in the clinic one to two times a week - visible, accessible, and not in your way clinically.

Our staff will tell you we feel like family here. We don't pay them to say that. New team members are welcomed with open arms and that's just how it goes.

A few words about who you'd be working alongside:

Dr Tahir

Dr Tahir

has lived in Griffin for over five years. He's a family man, deeply community-rooted, and once you get past the serious exterior there's a good sense of humour in there.

Dr Manjula Abeysinghe

Dr Manjula

has been with the clinic for years. She's also full-time, warm, deeply caring, and culturally connected to the community in a way that's hard to teach.

Dr Peter Lawson

Dr Lawson

is our experienced GP who shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. Four mornings a week, always sharp, always appreciated.

Dr Wesley Chan

Dr Chan

joins us Wednesdays for skin cancer consultations and minor procedures - a specialist in his own right and a great person to have around.
